We are Brooke, Soni and Zula Raiqiso.

We're so excited to announce the official approval and startup of Island Breeze Fiji. Our vision is to create a fully self sustaining ministry model that empowers the people of Fiji to walk in complete wholeness and in the freedom of knowing the Creator of their culture and to equip people to make him known to others. Our aim is to bring Spiritual, Physical, Emotional and Mental freedom from bondage and poverty through community development, inherent gifts and expressions, family ministry, bible-based training (Accredited degree programs), appropriate technology projects (fish farming and natural farming), and mobilization
(Sending missionaries).

In order to fulfil this vision we will build a campus and ministry. In Fiji we will be coming against a strong poverty mentality, hopelessness, and a lack of encouragement to rise up and achieve greater things. There is also disunity between the races in Fiji, between church denominations, and in families. Rebellion against God and authorities is consistently a
problem as you can see by the 7 coups that have taken place there. But God has been stirring, and the people are crying out for changes in their villages and communities and have asked us to come and help them understand who they are in Christ and to create a better future for the generations to come. We will be partnering with villages to see God’s will be done as they embark on this rebuilding stage.

In March 2011 we will be going to Fiji to begin Phase 1 of our 5 year plan, which includes finalizing the Island Breeze Fiji legal paperwork, and preparation for construction of the first dormitory. God has asked us to share our vision, and challenge other people and ministries to step forward and be part of what God is doing.
