Starting February 15th, 17 people are bound for the Dominican Republic for a 2 week mission. In partnership with I.N. Network, Open Door Ministries has adopted the Haitian community of ‘Los Algodones’, a village of displaced Haitian refugees. Although these families have fled the deteriorating conditions in Haiti, for the most part they continue to live in extreme poverty.
Our desired objectives in going are:

- Building a house for a family in Los Algodones
- Promoting Child Sponsorships & meeting with ODM-sponsored children
- Hospital Ministry, praying for patients and distributing care packages
- Serving a Children’s Lunch Ministry in a nearby village
- Participating in Dominican culture and sharing the love of Jesus with the communities and people we come in contact with.
