DR Team - Hospital & Aguas Negras

Feb 18th

After spending some time of sharing and praying together last night, I believe most of us felt encouraged to take on another day of hauling mud at Paradise Village.

But God obviously had other plans for us. When we woke up this morning we found we had a lot of rain over night, so being the flexible team that we are we had no problem changing plans and going to visit the hospital in the morning. This consisted of handing out care packages, visiting, praying, and even leading some to the Lord. More to follow when we come back.

We went for lunch as a team to Sirena food court and then left for the former Aguas Negras - now ‘New Rebirth’ - to visit Sandra and her mission. (wow, what a lady!) We spent time with the children in school and took a walk around the village. We saw some positive changes from last year. Praise God! The children sure can tug at the heart!

Great ministry! love seeing all the Open Doors faces of the "star team" from march 2010 back to the Dominican again to share and bless! Keep up the good work.
