Hi friends and family!

How are you all doing? It has been so long since i have sent a letter your way. Each week that goes by, I seem to dread it more because more and more things are going on and I wish there would be a better way to communicate it all to you! God has been soooo faithful!! I thank you all soooooo much for your prayers. Just to share briefly what the fruit of your prayers have been in these last couple of months:

1) I have had the strength to make it thus far! =)

2) My team has grown considerably! That has been the most amazing part! God has brought people to work alongside and not just any people.. they are girls (all university students) that have vision, passion and love for the kids and the ministry! So, it's a blast to share the fun times and the challenging times together with a group that is all learning and being stretched in Dulce Refugio.

3) We have 2 huge new additions in the area of provisions for our young moms - we recieve a monthly donation of Pampers (more than 5,000 diapers!!) and we also made our first purchase of meds for the new born babies!

4) We are now finally working on some long-awaited projects that are specifically for finding funds for salaries (my girls can't be long-term or consistent if they don't have anything to eat) and also eventually for aiming at getting our own building!

5) We went out to visit a pastor couple in Hernandarias (5 hours away from Asuncion) that has opened up their home to children living with HIV, and we are working on an agreement and ways that we can support them. I took care of one of their babies for a weekend after he was hospitalized here in Asuncion for about a month, and it was really special to see his new home and the love they pour out on these kids.

6) We got our first batch of Samaritan Purse gifts!! 400 in total!! PTL

7) I have been able to get 37,38,39,40's out of 40 in all of my classes in university!! Sometimes it came with a weekly breakdown and stressing out with everything pressing in work and studies.. but, so far so good!

8) Samy and I have been dating for 3 months now.. and he's the best gift God has sent my way!! He's an amazing support, encourager and has constantly helped me keep my sanity during these last months. Needless to say, we have been really growing in this relationship.. so, you can't say you weren't warned! ;)

Anyways... That was just a very short version of what I wanted to share with you. I will do my best to send out my real newsletter next week with pictures. I just wanted to share a bit of what is going on now and let you know that there is a place you can be looking at pics when you so desire,
